This is a note of THANKS for the great sermon each Sunday at St. Padre Pio Parish.
The paritioner who does not attend is missing out on the energy that occurs each Sunday, from the moment you walk through the doors with all the angels and saints until the moment you walk out them with the choir still on your mind.
P.S.
We teach our childen to say Thank-you from the moment they learn to speak but how many are thanking God for every event that has happened in their lives. Every moment that occurs has a reason good or bad for our future, so lets tell everyone that the one place to say THANK YOU is in church.
By the way, guess who it was who made you miss that fall you were about to take down the stairs the other day. October 31, 2005

I am looking forward to the Padre Pio Festival. I am one of his spiritual children. Prior to converting to Catholism, he visited me in a dream. I knew nothing about him and he spoke to me in Italian and I understood what he was saying (it was during my time of conversion). Several weeks later I was asked to attend a prayer group and was given a medal of Padre Pio. I still did not know anything about him or what he looked like. A woman held up a book and immediately seeing the picture on the cover I asked who he was and what was the book about. It was then I knew who this man dressed in brown, with eyes that pierced the soul was and in prayer I thanked him for appearing to me and for the words he spoke to me.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS YEARS PADRE PIO FESTIVAL. IT BRINGS ME BACK TO MY YOUTH WHEN MY PARENTS, WHO WERE IMMIGRANTS TOOK ME TO MANY FESTIVALS. MY MOTHER KNEW PADRE PIO IN PEITRELCINA WHERE SHE WAS BORN. HE PERFORMED A MIRACLE ON HER AND SAVED HER LIFE.
